The last quarter of 2024 Goodloading focused on optimizing algorithms. They introduced a range of improvements, reducing undesirable behaviors by 94% 🎉.
Here’s an overview of the changes implemented in Q4 2024:
New file import and export
The previous import file included only basic data about spaces and loads, which limited the ability of users to comprehensively manage their logistics and transportation needs. However, significant advancements have been made, and now users can utilize a more sophisticated file format that allows for the inclusion of a wider array of data. This enhanced functionality enables users to add vehicles, containers, and loads with the same ease and efficiency they experience directly within the app interface. The new file format has been meticulously designed to accommodate various fields that capture essential data points, such as axle loads, which are critical for ensuring that vehicles are not overloaded and remain compliant with transportation regulations. Additionally, users can now input information regarding refrigeration units, which is particularly important for transporting perishable goods that require temperature control throughout their journey. The inclusion of the center of gravity is another significant enhancement, as it plays a vital role in maintaining the stability of loads during transit, thereby reducing the risk of accidents or damage. Furthermore, the new file format encompasses a range of other relevant data fields that provide users with the flexibility to customize their imports according to their specific operational requirements. To streamline the process even further, Goodloading created a universal file format that serves both import and export functions. This means that any file exported from the app can be seamlessly re-uploaded to Goodloading without the need for extensive modifications or adjustments. This feature not only enhances user experience by simplifying workflows but also promotes efficiency by reducing the time spent on data entry and file management. Overall, these updates represent a significant leap forward in the capabilities of goodloading platform, empowering users with the tools they need to optimize their logistics operations effectively.
The import and export option is available on the top bar, under the folder icon. By clicking “Import File,” a window opens, allowing you to upload a document with loads. Separate files and instructions are available for each type of cargo space.

Other Significant Enhancements
Goodloading also improved several essential features:
Improved performance of shared project views.
Updates to in-app recommendations.
Enhanced functionality of weight and height limits.
Optimized rotation of loads (boxes) when fewer than 10 loads are in a project.
Highlighting loads on the load list for better visibility.
Improved drag-and-drop functionality and load support percentage.
